2024 EVENT
Nayatt School's 19th Annual 5K and 1 mile run are back . We are excited to get the Barrington community, neighboring towns and local running groups TOGETHER for a morning filled with family fun! In addition to the 5K and 1 mile run, there will be a 50 yard dash, raffle baskets, on-site sponsor activities, DJ and food trucks!
Course
The Nayatt 5k is a USATF sanctioned course. The Family 1 mile run/walk is a loop in the neighborhood. The 5K and 1 mile races are electronically timed by RaceWire. The 50-Yard Dash is run on the school grounds.
5K Awards
Cash prize and trophy to top overall male and female. Medals will be awarded for first, place finishers for males and females in each age group (under 7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+). Finisher medals are provided to those 12 and under (denoted with a slash on their race bib).
Family 1 Mile Run/Walk Awards
Medals will be awarded to the top 1st place male and female finishers in each age group (Under 7, 8-12, 12-16, 16-21, Over 21). Finisher medals are provided to those 12 and under (denoted with a slash on their race bib).
50 Yard Dash
Races will be run for each age (under 5, 5,6,7,8,9 and 10) for both male and female. Winners will receive a gift card. No need to register for the 50 yard dash.
T-Shirts
Youth and adult sized cotton T-shirts will be available to order and are included in the price of the race. For those individuals that sign up less than 3 weeks prior to the race or day of limited tee shirts will be available. [There will be less T-shirts given away than in the past due to price increases. The Nayatt 5K committee is dedicated to limiting costs as much as possible to benefit the school.] Therefore please register early.
Raffle
Bring cash $ or venmo- We will have themed class baskets this year with great items! Nayatt families will have the opportunity to pre-purchase raffle tickets. All race attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets race day!

Additional Information
Course certified by USATF and electronic timing through RaceWire. For your safety, rollerblades and dogs are prohibited from the race course. Headphones are permitted, but strongly discouraged.
If you wear headphones, please be courteous to other runners.

Directions
From I-95 North or South: Take Route 195 East to exit 7 (Rt.114, Barrington). Follow 114 until you enter the center of Barrington. Pass Shaw's Plaza on the right and at the next light, take a right onto Rumstick Road. Take a right onto Nayatt Road and the school will be on your right.
From Southeastern Mass: Take Route 195 West to exit 2/Rt. 136. Follow 136 south into Warren, RI, take a right onto RI-103/Child St, then turn right onto RI-103/RI-114/Main St, it becomes 103/114/County Rd. After the two bridges take a left at the first light onto Rumstick Road. Take a right onto Nayatt Road and the school will be on the right.
